The Pool opens Saturday, May 27 and closes Monday, September 4, 2023.

There are special operating hours on *Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, 2023 & ** Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2023.


The Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Swim Team practices from 9:00am to 11:30am through the 3rd week in July

Guest Pass Policy

Guest passes can be purchased at any time during the season through your eSoft account at a cost of $15 each or a pack of 10 for $125. The guest passes are added to your account electronically and are instantly available for use, or can also be purchased at the check-in desk. Members are allowed to bring one guest per member in attendance, with the exception of those who have Resident Senior Memberships who will be allowed to bring multiple grandchildren as guests. Guest passes expire at the end of the season and are non-refundable.

Unexpected Closings

The Village of Oak Brook reserves the right to close the pool or parts of the pool as deemed appropriate and necessary.  The pool may close for situations including, but not limited to: inclement weather (thunder, lightning, cold and heavy continuous rain) or conditions beyond our control.  For up-to-date information, please call the pool at 630.368.6452 or rainout line at 630.368.6432

We are excited to offer Fluid Running this summer!  This interval based water running workout provides all of the benefits of running on land and more but without any impact since it takes place in the deep end of the pool.  You do not need to be a runner, yet you will benefit from the ability to burn 40% more calories than if you were running on land. 


It is a phenomenal full-body workout that mixes running with nine different movements that will strengthen your legs, arms, core and cardiovascular system.  This workout is for all levels of fitness.  Anyone can do it!


Flotation belts are required but are not provided. They can be purchased for a discount from Fluid Running by clicking this link:


Belts will be available for pick up at the pool when you come to class.

Classes are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am to 8:55 a.m. Bring a water bottle!


Note: You do not need to be Member to participate in Fluid Running classes.  However, you do need to Register for the classes.

Water Orientation Lessons

Water orientation lessons are for children under the age of 3 who have had limited experience with lessons. This is a 15-minute lesson and will have a 1: 1 instructor student ratio. The swimmer will be introduced to the water, swimming skills, and water safety.

Group Swim Lessons

Our staff of experienced instructors utilize specialized techniques to get your little swimmers loving the water while working on safety and learning to swim independently. Classes are divided by age and skill level with an emphasis on water safety, swim skills, and techniques. Swimmers will have the opportunity to move up through our levels, even mid-week, as soon as they have achieved the skills required to advance. Our lessons will emphasize FUN and PROGRESS! Swim lesson groups will be a 1 instructor to 3 - 5 swimmer ratio.

***Cancellations due to inclement weather will be prorated, no make ups***


Level 1

  • Head completely under water with bubbles

  • Float on back (with assistance)

  • Kick on kickboard or boat (with assistance)


Level 3

  • Complete freestyle arms, can swim to flags

  • Backstroke kick hugging kickboard unassisted

  • Roll to back for two freestyle breaths

  • Kick across pool (unassisted)

  • Retrieve diving rings from deepest part of lap pool


Level 2

  • Push off wall (unassisted)

  • Jump in (unassisted)

  • Kick on back with kickboard (with assistance)

  • Kick with kickboard (unassisted) Retrieve diving rinds from shallow end (assisted)


Level 4

  • Bent-arm freestyle arms

  • Can swim across pool

  • Backstroke kickboard above head (unassisted)

  • Exhale underwater while swimming

  • Bilateral breathing to both sides every 3 strokes

  • Standing dive Breaststroke kick

  • Butterfly kick

For the swimmers who have completed all Level 4 skills of our group swim lessons, but are not quite ready for OBBT Swim Team, Pre Team is for you! The Pre-Team will focus on preparing your swimmers for OBBT swim team through technical instruction so swimmers learn the strokes properly. Fundamental instruction of all 4-swim strokes with hands on coaching both in and out of the water will ensure your swimmer is ready for swim team. **Pre-learners are welcome to participate in swim meets when ready, with coach’s approval.**

Water Polo

The OBBT Water Polo Program will teach new water polo players the fundamentals of the sport, while also challenging experienced water polo players to refine and improve skills. Participation in weekend conference wide water polo matches is optional but always encouraged.

Come out to learn all the cool moves off our awesome diving boards at OBBT! Beginning divers will learn front and back dives. Intermediate divers will also be welcomed to further their skills on the board. Competition is optional. Must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted to participate.

Join your favorite OBBT coaches to continue to work on your strokes and skills following the completion of the summer swim team season. Do not give up all that progress your swimmer has made! Premier Aquatics is excited to announce Afternoon Camp 2023 at OBBT, where campers will build skills, make friends, and have tons of fun. Campers will enjoy a broad range of activities, including 3 core stations each day of swim time, tennis, and creative discovery. The 4th station will rotate intermittently, including activities such as volleyball, soccer, and group games. Each afternoon, campers will be supervised by our camp’s attentive and devoted staff, who are looking forward to a great summer.


Each Day, Campers should bring a backpack or drawstring bag with:

  • Peanut-free snack or cash for food from the grill

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Swimsuit and towel

  • Sunscreen

  • Gym shoes

  • Tennis Racquet

Swim Team


Swim Team Registration

Swim Team registration begins the first week of May.

To register with the OBBT team, you must first have an Unlimited Family Swim membership.

Each swim team in our conference is heavily driven by parent volunteers to help ensure our teams run smoothly.  Therefore, each family will need to sign up for volunteer positions at a minimum of 3 meets.  To register, or for more information, please visit our website at Questions? Email

OBBT Swim Team (Ages 5 - 18)

The OBBT Swim Team is an excellent way to make new friends, learn and enhance your swim skills and create life long memories!  Our experienced coaches will emphasize fun and technique to help improve good starts, turns and finishes as you continue to build your skills during drills and races. 

We participate in the Inter-suburban Swim Conference (ISC), which consists of a total of six dual meets during June and July and concludes with the conference championship meet on Saturday, July 15.


WHITE TEAM  Ages 5 to 8

Must be able to swim a 25 freestyle and 25 backstroke without stopping. Should also be familiar with butterfly and breaststroke.
